Hi there! My name is Lindsey, I'm the artist behind Tied + True Goods. I live on the California central coast just north of San Luis Obispo, & I've been doing macrame for a little over 6 years ago now. I love almond milk lattes, hikes with ocean views, & listening to podcasts all day long.

This creative business brings me so much joy and I'm happy you're here! My macrame journey began in early 2017. I was a year out of college, a year into my nannying job, and a year into marriage. Life had settled into a rhythm and I began craving a creative outlet. I stumbled upon macrame when I was looking into a wall hanging for our apartment. My first piece was super simple, made with thrifted yarn and a piece of driftwood I'd picked up at a beach nearby. Pretty sure it hardly counted as macrame, but I was hooked. I jumped onto YouTube and watched how-to videos endlessly, trying my best to learn the knots. Soon our loft was full of plant hangers & wall hangings, leading me to decide to open an Etsy shop. My goal was to be able to keep making macrame without covering every square inch of our walls with my pieces. When I clicked "publish" on my Etsy shop, I had absolutely no idea where this macrame journey would end up taking me.

Now years later, Tied + True has changed my life in the best way. I have wholesale and consignment accounts across the central coast, I participate in local markets, I teach macrame workshops, and I run my online shop--sending macrame across the US! I'm so thankful for this creative business and for your generous support.
